[[Hexed to the Order & Residents of 12 GP]]
I can't even bloody believe that this is necessary.
Before any of you ask: yes. Draco is now living with us. Yes, I think this is a perfectly fine idea. No, you can't dissuade me and no, I won't hear two ways about this. You can't change my mind. This was the right thing to do, and, before you start to complain, stop and ask yourselves: what would Dumbledore do? Would Dumbledore leave an innocent, who was being tortured for fun, sport, and the crime of not being able to rip his soul apart via murder, to die? No he wouldn't? My thoughts exactly.
I'd advise all of you not to test me on this point.
[[Hexed to George]] Could you bring one of the magical journals to Headquarters as soon as possible?
[[Hexed Private; readable by Tonks, Molly, & Minerva]] Unbelievable, some of these children. It's ridiculous. They're all twenty-somethings, enmeshed in a war. Maybe we didn't talk as openly as these kids when I was a twenty-something enmeshed in a war, but we also didn't carry on, acting like we were still in school, firing hexes at each other in the corridors because the Quidditch Cup was coming up next week. Some decisions were made quickly, yes, but there wasn't this inane squabbling and name-flinging. At least some of them are reasonable -- George and Percy, Ernie, Anthony, Penny ... actually, a good deal of them are reasonable. I'm wondering if it isn't just two particular ones having their way with the rest of them. ...Well, no, three. Either way. The exact numbers aren't important.
It's my birthday -- as if I needed to be reminded of the nicknames I should be enduring -- the full moon was last night, and this shouldn't even be a bloody issue. The Order was designed to help people. Dumbledore wanted us to help people. I shouldn't have to explain this to the kids.
And, bloody hell, Umbridge is on these things. Next, I suppose Terry's going to blow up the kitchen out of spite. Murphy's Law and whatnot.

[Hexed to the Order & Residents of Grimmauld Place] By the way.
Just so everyone knows: whatever plans you have on the Ides of March no longer exist. Specifically: cancel all plans for March 15th at 4:30 in the afternoon.
Tonks and I are getting married in Penelope's brilliant Outside Room, and we'd appreciated it if as many of you as possible could come. If you live at Headquarters, you have no excuse to skip; unless you contract the Plague or Dragon Pox between now and then, you're coming.
If you really need enticement, we'll feed you afterwards.
[Hexed to Molly, Minerva, & Tonks] Minerva, Molly... this will be rather awkward, but... would either of you entirely mind performing the Binding Ceremony?

( Hexed to Anthony. ) ( Hexed to Theodore. ) ( Hexed to Tonks. )
(added later) [Hexed to Minerva] It's Albus.
Terry's reacting so negatively to Draco because of Albus. And because of some notion he has -- which may or may not be correct, but he certainly believes it -- that Albus was the only adult in his life who said that it was alright for him to be gay. That he didn't need to punish himself for it. And Draco paved the way for Severus to murder Albus, which Terry apparently equates with actually doing the deed. It's just...
...Merlin. I had him in one detention. Only one. And I was so sure that I was right about what was troubling him. I should've guessed it, I should've known, I should've pressed the issue -- there's no excuse for my missing this. [/Minerva]

( Hexed Private, though Minerva can read it. ) ( Hexed to Neville. ) ( Hexed to George. )
[Hexed to the Order & Supporters] Would someone like to explain to me what, exactly, went on with Draco Malfoy to merit everyone getting into a snit?
And, on a tangential note: do we honestly need to go over the concept of keeping your quills and negative words to yourselves? Yes, Zacharias Smith and Anthony Goldstein, I am looking at both of you. You're all old enough to know better, and I don't have detentions to put you in anymore, but there are particularly unsavoury chores I can assign to those of you who are staying in Headquarters. Mind your quills, both in terms of dealing with each other and in terms of dealing with those on the other side, Ron and Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and anyone who's been talking to Draco Malfoy.

[Hexed Private.] This is ridiculous. With everything else that's going on and everything else that needs my attention, I should not have to sacrifice an afternoon to have another consultation with a Healer. True, his specialty is in healing the mind, but my father is a trained Healer -- moreover, he's dealt with my lycanthropy hands-on since I was six, with requisite breaks for when I went to school, when I went abroad after James and Lily's deaths, when I was teaching at Hogwarts, and when I went underground. He managed to get in his professional and paternal opinion in when I lived on my own, and when I lived in this place the first time. He knows the ins and outs of my condition, he knows when things are better or worse, and his opinion is more than satisfactory.
But I did promise Minerva that I'd get another person's opinion, and I certainly hope that Hestia's is satisfactory. If Order members can't trust one another, especially in regards to sensitive subjects such as this, then we have more than just a few problems. The reluctance to do this on my part has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that only Molly beats Hestia at meddling in my personal life.
Minerva's concern is touching, though. Especially given the circumstances like how I could swear that I've seen Percy here more often than I've seen Tonks.
[/Private.]
[Hexed to Hestia.] You wouldn't happen to have a spare afternoon to come and give a Healer's opinion on something, would you?
I can't even believe I'm doing this.
[/Hestia.]
