This is ridiculous. With everything else that's going on and everything else that needs my attention, I should not have to sacrifice an afternoon to have another consultation with a Healer. True, his specialty is in healing the mind, but my father is a trained Healer -- moreover, he's dealt with my lycanthropy hands-on since I was six, with requisite breaks for when I went to school, when I went abroad after James and Lily's deaths, when I was teaching at Hogwarts, and when I went underground. He managed to get in his professional and paternal opinion in when I lived on my own, and when I lived in this place the first time. He knows the ins and outs of my condition, he knows when things are better or worse, and his opinion is more than satisfactory.

But I did promise Minerva that I'd get another person's opinion, and I certainly hope that Hestia's is satisfactory. If Order members can't trust one another, especially in regards to sensitive subjects such as this, then we have more than just a few problems. The reluctance to do this on my part has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that only Molly beats Hestia at meddling in my personal life.

Minerva's concern is touching, though. Especially given the circumstances like how I could swear that I've seen Percy here more often than I've seen Tonks.

[/Private.]

[Hexed to Hestia.]
You wouldn't happen to have a spare afternoon to come and give a Healer's opinion on something, would you?

I can't even believe I'm doing this.

[/Hestia.]

A Healer's opinion? Is someone hurt, Remus? If that's the case I'd like to think you'd do more than scribble a journal entry, you know how to find me, after all.

Oh, honestly- No one is hurt, Hestia, and, if someone were, I would be doing much more than scribbling a journal entry. The matter at hand is infinitely less pressing.

Well I assumed no one had severed any limbs or anything, I realise you're not exactly stupid. Oh for pity's sake, am I at least allowed to know what it's concerning before I come?

Minerva expressed a rather vague and generalised concern for my health. I told her that I'm fine, but I also promised to talk to you, for a second opinion, which I thought would put her more at ease with the situation.

Well, has she a reason for thinking that? Ooh, do I get to go poking and prodding now?

Not particularly. The most reason I can think of is that I brought up the fact that the past two full moons were, as far as such things go, rather tolerable. And, yes, you get to go poking and prodding, to a reasonable extent.

Well, then, you'd think she'd be preferring a bit of tolerable over, say, awful. Still, I can't turn down the chance to go poking about.

How about that, I almost just asked if you were busy in the morning.

Given that tolerable is about the best we can hope for in this particular case, I wouldn't think that she'd be notably overjoyed, but it's better than wretched.

You would need to ask that?

Well have you ever truly been able to say, 'oh hurrah transformation night'? No, I didn't think so.

I've a patient I want to check on first thing tomorrow, but then I don't have rounds till later. I'll come by sometime before lunch, I'd imagine.

Of course not. If I ever did, there would be a great deal more wrong with me than I think any of us are equipped to handle.

I'll be looking forward to your visit, then.
